Job summary

Mount Farm Surgery in Suffolk is seeking an experienced emergency care practitioner or advanced clinical practitioner to join our teaching practice on a part-time basis (minimum 2 days per week, negotiable for the right candidate).

You will work with our existing ECP/ACP team to manage on-the-day patient needs, with scope to develop the role and undertake home visits and prescribing tasks.

Qualifications

• Be a registered paramedic with current HCPC registration and post-registration experience, ideally in primary care.
• Desirable Masters degree level.
• Independent prescribing qualification.
• Teaching qualification.
• Experience working independently as an ECP or ACP.
• Able to undertake home visits and visits to care homes.
• Own transport.
• Willingness to work outside usual hours if required.

Responsibilities

• Telephone triage.
• Home visiting.
• Prescribing and undertaking medication reviews.
• Provide patients with information and guidance on health promotion strategies.
