The Guinness Partnership is seeking an Advanced Electrician to join our South West team, delivering responsive repairs across our housing stock. This is a permanent role, 40 hours per week, Monday–Friday 8am–7pm with Saturday morning on a rota. An out-of-hours callout rota offers additional payment.

You will hold Certificated Electrician qualifications with experience in testing up to 230v/415v and a strong focus on safety and compliance in domestic and commercial settings.

Qualifications

• Certificated Electrician qualifications and demonstrated experience in domestic and commercial electrical works.
• Proven knowledge and experience in electrical fixed wire testing, installing, and maintaining up to 230v/415v.
• Ability to correctly complete the relevant certifications and record data accurately.
• Experience working in a customer-focused environment within agreed performance targets.

Responsabilités

• Deliver responsive electrical repairs as part of the South West team.
• Carry out domestic and commercial electrical work to high standards.
• Be part of an out-of-hours callout rota with additional payment.

Guinness Property provides repairs and maintenance services to The Guinness Partnership. Our national teams deliver rapid-response housing repairs, maintenance, and improvement services to ensure that our residents' homes are safe and maintained to a high standard.

Guinness Property, our in-house maintenance service, delivers repairs to 55,000 of our homes. Our national teams deliver rapid-response housing repairs, maintenance, and improvement services to ensure our residents’ homes are safe and maintained to a high standard.

About The Role

We are looking for an Advanced Electrician to join our South West team, delivering responsive repairs. This is a permanent role, working 40 hours per week covering the hours between 8am – 7pm Monday – Friday plus Saturday morning. The later shift and Saturday morning working is delivered on a rota basis. The role also includes participation in an out-of-hours callout rota, which comes with an additional payment.

Essential Requirements Of The Role

• Certificated Electrician qualifications and demonstrated experience in domestic and commercial electrical works.
• Proven knowledge and experience in electrical fixed wire testing, installing, and maintaining up to 230v/415v.
• Ability to correctly complete the relevant certifications, follow agreed procedures and accurately record data and information.
• Ability to accurately interpret technical data & drawings and instructions.
• Experience working in a customer-focused environment within agreed performance targets.
• Ability to make decisions and solve problems seeking any advice required.
• Ability to carry out physical tasks and lift weights in accordance with health and safety guidelines.
• Good working knowledge of Health & Safety Practices.
