Perfect Placement UK Ltd is seeking a skilled Diagnostic Vehicle Technician to join a reputable automotive dealership group in Birmingham. The role offers a modern workshop, the latest diagnostic technology and ongoing manufacturer training.

You will work Monday to Friday, 40 hours, with no weekends, and benefit from a competitive salary up to £44,696 plus OTE £55,000, training, and mentoring in a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Recognised Level 3 qualification (IMI, City & Guilds or equivalent).
• Proven experience as a Diagnostic Vehicle Technician with strong diagnostic skills.
• Experience with modern diagnostic tools and manufacturer software.

Responsibilities

• Carry out advanced vehicle diagnostics to identify complex faults in electrical, electronic and mechanical systems.
• Perform warranty and general repairs following manufacturer standards.
• Conduct mechanical, electrical and hydraulic repairs safely and efficiently.
• Service, maintain, and replace components as required as the Diagnostic Vehicle Technician.
• Utilise advanced diagnostic equipment and software to locate and resolve difficult faults.
• Support and mentor fellow technicians, sharing technical expertise.
• Ensure all work is completed accurately, to high safety standards, and with exceptional attention to quality.
• Undertake electric and hybrid vehicle diagnostics, where appropriately qualified.
