Job summary

Morgan Hunt is recruiting for an Advanced Communication Support Worker on a part-time basis in Stamford. You will provide high-quality BSL-based support to Deaf and hard-of-hearing learners across lectures, tutorials and workshops, enabling them to achieve their academic goals.

The role requires a recognised BSL qualification (Level 3+; Level 6 preferred), FE experience, and an Enhanced DBS update service. Immediate start or after notice period is available.

Qualifications

• Must hold a recognised BSL qualification (Level 3 or above, Level 6 preferred).
• Experience working as a Communication Support Worker, ideally in Further Education.
• Enhanced DBS registered with Update Service or willing to apply for a new one.

Position: Advanced Communication Support Worker

Location: Stamford

Job Type: Perm

Pay: Up to £20,000 annually

Work hours: 24 hours per week

Key Details:

• Provide high-quality communication support to Deaf and hard-of-hearing learners using British Sign Language (BSL).
• Support students in lectures, tutorials, workshops, and other learning environments to help them achieve their academic goals.
• Must hold a recognised BSL qualification (Level 3 or above, Level 6 preferred) and have experience working as a Communication Support Worker, ideally within a Further Education setting.
• Have a valid Enhanced DBS registered with the online Update Service or be willing to apply for a new one.
