Job summary

Morgan Hunt is recruiting for a Communication Support Worker role in Stamford, working part-time on a permanent basis. The position involves supporting Deaf and hard-of-hearing learners with BSL in lectures, tutorials, and workshops to help them achieve academic goals.

Ideal candidates hold a recognised BSL qualification (Level 3+; Level 6 preferred) and have relevant FE experience. A valid Enhanced DBS or willingness to obtain one is required.

Qualifications

• Must hold a recognised BSL qualification (Level 3 or above, Level 6 preferred).
• Experience as a Communication Support Worker, ideally within a Further Education setting.
• DBS is required or willingness to apply for a new one.

Position: Advanced Communication Support Worker

Location: Stamford

Job Type: Perm

Pay: Up to £20,000 annually

Workhours: 24 hours per week

Interview Date: ASAP

Start Date: Immediate or after notice period

• Provide high-quality communication support to Deaf and hard-of-hearing learners using British Sign Language (BSL).
• Support students in lectures, tutorials, workshops, and other learning environments to help them achieve their academic goals.
• Must hold a recognised BSL qualification (Level 3 or above, Level 6 preferred) and have experience working as a Communication Support Worker, ideally within a Further Education setting.
• Have a valid Enhanced DBS registered with the online Update Service or be willing to apply for a new one.
