Job summary

North Cheshire and Mersey NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Band 8a Advanced Clinical Practitioner to join the Warrington Urgent Community Response team. The post leads and supports the team in assessing, planning, delivering and evaluating patient-centred care within a dynamic service.

The role requires a V300 prescribing qualification and a clinical MSc (or current study towards it), with a flexible 80/20 split between clinical work and management, and weekend shifts as needed.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to lead and influence clinical practice.
• Experience with risk assessment and clinical governance.
• Understanding of national health policy and NHS Long-Term Plan.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the team in assessing, planning, delivering and evaluating patient-centred care.
• Act as a model with clinical commitment, working varied shifts including weekends.
• Split time at a minimum 80/20 clinical to management.
• Develop and implement evidence-based practice and clinical guidelines.
