Job summary

The Alexandra Hospital in Redditch, Worcestershire, is recruiting an Advanced Clinical Practitioner to join the MSDEC Urgent Care service, practising autonomously and leading clinical decisions across the ACP-led pathway at Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust.

Working within an expanding, multi-professional team to assess, diagnose and treat a broad range of acutely unwell patients, driving safety and quality improvements while supporting leadership growth.

Qualifications

• Nursing degree or equivalent qualification.
• MSc in Advanced Practice with competence in managing acute illness and injury.
• Non-Medical Prescribing with recent life-support training (ALS/EPALS/APLS/ATLS) within last 5 years.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert clinical assessment, decision-making, and treatment.
• Lead and influence clinical practice across Urgent Care, supporting staff development.
• Act as an expert resource to ensure safety, quality, dignity and patient experience.
• Support leadership growth within the department and ACP-led workforce.
