Job summary

Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust in Exeter is seeking an experienced SACT/Education Practitioner (Internal Only) to lead and teach in anti-cancer therapies. The post holder will support training, SACT delivery, and professional development across oncology and haematology teams.

You will mentor staff, contribute to quality improvements, and participate in education activities while maintaining high standards of patient care within a busy cancer services environment.

Qualifications

• Experienced Oncology or Haematology nurse with recent SACT administration experience.
• Ability to develop training resources and deliver teaching to staff.
• Experience in mentoring and supporting junior staff in oncology settings.

Responsibilities

• Lead on clinical delivery of anti-cancer therapies and board-level liaison.
• Develop training resources and teach/assess for sign-off in SACT administration.
• Engage in quality/service improvement across cancer services.
• Mentor junior staff and support across oncology/haematology with SACT skills.
• Support outreach, OOH triage, and 24-hour SACT line activities.
