Job summary

Locum Ready is seeking an Advanced Clinical Practitioner to support regional community health and primary care services across Wymondham. You will join established clinical teams, delivering advanced decision-making, routine assessments and urgent care support in varied service environments.

Key duties include ACP-led clinics, acute illness management, triage, safe prescribing, and meticulous digital documentation, with flexible, ad-hoc or ongoing sessional work to fit your schedule.

Qualifications

• Advanced Clinical Practitioner qualification (Level 7) required.
• Clinical background in Nursing, Paramedic Science, AHP or similar.
• Independent Prescribing (V300) desirable.
• Experience in GP, urgent care or community health services.
• Ability to work independently in varied clinical environments.
• Enhanced DBS

Responsibilities

• Delivering ACP-led sessions within community and primary care settings.
• Managing acute, undifferentiated and minor illness presentations.
• Supporting urgent patient demand through telephone or face-to-face triage.
• Prescribing safely within scope of competence.
• Managing clinical actions including results, medication reviews and follow-up tasks.
• Recording accurate and clear digital documentation.
