Job summary

Locum Ready is seeking an Advanced Clinical Practitioner to support regional community health and primary care services across Highbridge. This flexible, sessional role suits ACPs with autonomous clinical assessment skills and the ability to respond to urgent patient demand.

You will work within established clinical teams, providing advanced decision-making, routine assessments and urgent care support across diverse service environments, with flexible shifts including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Advanced Clinical Practitioner qualification (Level 7).
• Clinical background in Nursing, Paramedic Science, AHP or similar.
• Experience in GP, urgent care or community health services.
• Ability to work independently in varied clinical environments.
• Independent Prescribing (V300) desirable.

Responsibilities

• Delivering ACP-led sessions within community and primary care settings
• Managing acute, undifferentiated and minor illness presentations
• Supporting urgent patient demand through telephone or face-to-face triage
• Prescribing safely within scope of competence
• Managing clinical actions including results, medication reviews and follow-up tasks
• Recording accurate and clear digital documentation
