Here at Rainbows Children’s Hospice, we provide specialist palliative care and end-of-life support to over 750 babies, children, and young people living with life-limiting and life-threatening conditions, as well as approximately 3,000 people, including families, siblings, and carers, across the East Midlands. We’re here to brighten short lives and support families, wherever they are.
We are seeking an exceptional and organized ACP to join our dedicated Specialist Palliative Care team at Rainbows Children’s Hospice, covering all 5 counties of the East Midlands: Hospice, Hospital, and Community. In this role, you will provide advanced clinical expertise, contribute to symptom management, lead on end-of-life care, and work closely with families to ensure the best quality of care for the babies, children, and young people in our care. You will also support the Head of Palliative Care in managing, leading, and introducing new services within the Hospice and manage a team of CNSs and unregistered professionals.
You will be based at the Hospice in Loughborough and be required to travel across the East Midlands covering all 5 counties: Leicestershire, Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire, Northamptonshire, and Lincolnshire.
This role will be between 8:00 am and 8:00 pm, on a rota covering 7 days a week. There will be a requirement to be on the on-call rota.
