Garston Urgent Treatment Centre is recruiting for an Advanced Clinical Practitioner. This role offers an exciting opportunity for practitioners to operate at an advanced level in a fast-paced and rewarding environment.

About the Service

The Walk-in Centres and Urgent Treatment Centres service delivers care across Liverpool. The service operates from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm, offering flexible shift patterns.

Role Responsibilities

1. Act as the Advanced Clinical Practitioner on duty to advise and support clinical decision-making.
2. Function as the shift coordinator and point of escalation.
3. Take charge of the shift and support service provision management in the absence of Service Leads.
4. Support and mentor other clinical staff to develop competencies.
5. Apply advanced skills in history taking, extended assessment, clinical examination, diagnosis, treatment, and referral.
6. Ensure smooth patient flow and a positive patient experience.
7. Provide clinical leadership and support clinical decision-making during shifts.

Candidate Requirements

The post holder must demonstrate commitment to service development, possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and be capable of managing challenging situations. The role requires autonomous working and delivering advanced clinical practice within national frameworks for Advanced Clinical Practice (ACP).
