Job description

We are seeking Advanced Nurse Practitioners/Clinical Nurse Specialists with neurology experience who are interested in being at the forefront of new treatments for patients with neurological diseases. This role collaborates closely with our physicians, serving as a clinical expert, to support project teams in clinical research studies (no direct patient care).

Responsibilities

1. Develop and implement disease-specific and clinical education for internal teams
2. Review study and participant clinical safety data (e.g., laboratory, medications, medical history) as part of the study's medical monitoring team
3. Review protocols for scientific and participant safety risks
4. Attend pre-study and study-related meetings, providing clinical expertise
5. Assist the Clinical Operations team with participant recruitment, screening, and study conduct activities
6. Contribute clinical input to Medpace's proposals for new clinical trials
7. Present as a clinical expert in business presentations to potential clients

Qualifications

1. Masters or doctorate degree in nursing or equivalent
2. Nursing and Midwifery Council registration and NMC pin number
3. Significant experience as a clinical nurse practitioner or nurse consultant within neurology
4. Experience in clinical research is preferred
5. Evidence of autonomous clinical or research work at a senior level
