Mid and South Essex NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Specialist Cardiac Physiologist to join our dedicated cardiac physiology team based at the Essex Cardiothoracic Centre. The role involves independent reporting on a range of procedures and workload management, with opportunities to expand into advanced areas such as electrophysiology and device follow-up.

Applicants should have RCCP/HCPC registration and a Cardiac Physiology degree, with postgraduate MSc-level qualification desirable.

Qualifikationen

• Qualifications commensurate with RCCP or HCPC registration.
• Degree in Cardiac clinical physiology.
• Postgraduate education equivalent to MSc in Cardiac Physiology.
• Knowledge and skills across sub-specialties e.g echo, cath lab, device management, ECG interpretation.

Aufgaben

• Provide specialist skills covering a range of basic and advanced procedures with practice underpinned by relevant academic attainment and practical experience.
• Develop highly specialist clinical knowledge and skills in advanced techniques.
• Participate in training and supervision of the Cardiac Physiology team.
• Carry out administrative duties to support management of the department.
