Bradford Metropolitan District Council is seeking an experienced Adults Team Manager to lead our adult social care team in Bradford. The temporary, full-time role is 37 hours per week with a competitive rate of £51.41 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Manage supervise and support a team of adult social care professionals ensuring delivery of high-quality practice and effective case management.
• Provide professional oversight guidance and challenge around complex cases ensuring that processes meet the highest standards.
• Ensure assessments care planning safeguarding and reviews are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
• Support performance quality assurance and drive continuous improvement within the team.
• Collaborate closely with health social care and partner agencies to deliver integrated services.
• Manage risk effectively and ensure that statutory duties and relevant legislation such as the Care Act and Mental Capacity Act are followed thoroughly.
• Contribute to service development and the effective operational management of the team.

As a qualified social worker registered with Social Work England you will bring significant experience in adult social care with previous experience in team or senior management roles.
