What you will do:

• Undertake statutory safeguarding enquiries and investigations in accordance with the Care Act 2014 and local multi-agency safeguarding procedures.
• Complete strengths-based assessments, risk assessments, support planning, and reviews for adults with care and support needs.
• Apply the principles of Making Safeguarding Personal to achieve outcomes identified by adults at risk and their carers.
• Work collaboratively with health professionals, police, housing services, legal teams, and voluntary sector partners to coordinate safeguarding responses.
• Provide professional advice and guidance on safeguarding matters to colleagues, partner organisations, and multi-disciplinary teams.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Degree or equivalent qualification in Social Work.
• Registered with Social Work England.
• Evidence of continuing professional development relevant to adult safeguarding practice.
• Post-qualified experience within Adult Social Care.
• Experience managing safeguarding cases involving vulnerable adults and complex risk.
• Proven experience working in multi-disciplinary and multi-agency environments.
