Adults Social Worker – Mid Essex, Chelmsford

Salary: £37,185 to £50,081 per annum

We welcome expressions of interest from Experienced and Newly Qualified Social Workers (NQSW). The starting salary for a NQSW is £34,902 per annum, rising to £37,185 per annum upon successful completion of the ASYE programme.
Supporting adults with complex social needs to live independently, managing caseloads involving risk assessment, direct work, commissioned services, and reviews. Ensuring safeguarding and sharing best practices within a multidisciplinary team.
Located in Mid Essex, covering Chelmsford, Braintree, and Maldon, an area with diverse urban and rural communities and excellent travel links, including direct trains to London.
You should be a qualified social worker with current Social Work England registration, with at least 1 year’s experience, ongoing professional development, and a strong understanding of current legislation and practice standards. Experience in chairing multi-agency meetings and developing relationships with partner agencies is essential.
This role involves travel around Essex. A driving license and access to a vehicle, or alternative mobility means, are required.
