Job Opportunity: Social Worker (Agency)

Position Type: Long Term Temporary, immediate start

Essential Criteria:

2. SWE Registration

The Adult Social Care Review Team covers a wide remit of reviews and reassessment across the Wirral, working with persons recently discharged from hospital and those residing in the community. The team supports various adult social care projects, including at-risk care home and domiciliary providers. It collaborates with Wirral contracts & commissioning and quality improvement teams, adhering to outcomes-focused and legally literate practices.

The Review Team offers numerous opportunities for practitioners to strengthen their practice and apply transferable knowledge and skills in a CPD-focused environment. Agency Social Workers will support service delivery using assessment and intervention skills within a legal framework. Experience working with older adults is preferred. Car use is essential. Flexible working arrangements are available (3 days in the office, 2 days WFH).

Must Have:

• A professional qualification in social work
• Social Work England registration
• Enhanced DBS/Update service
• References covering the last 5 years of employment
