Job summary

Worcestershire County Council in Bromsgrove is recruiting a Social Worker to join the Redditcc Area Team. This permanent, full-time role focuses on strength-based practice and collaborative work to achieve meaningful outcomes.

You will manage complex cases and apply the Care Act, Mental Capacity Act and Mental Health Act in practice. The role offers hybrid working with a minimum of two office days weekly at Parkside Bromsgrove.

Qualifications

• Experience managing complex cases.
• Knowledge of Care Act, Mental Capacity Act and Mental Health Act.
• Registration with Social Work England or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Manage your own caseload with supervision and support.
• Advocate for individuals and work in partnership with health and statutory bodies.
• Apply strength-based approaches to achieve positive outcomes.
• Participate in a four-week duty rota and adapt to hybrid working.
