Herefordshire Council
Herefordshire Adult Social Care is looking for an experienced locum Social Worker to carry out review work across all North, City and South Teams. Must have a strong working knowledge of eligibility under the Care Act 2014 & the Mental Capacity Act 2005. Experience of completing Safeguarding Enquiries is also essential.
You will also be familiar with a strengths-based approach and able to employ this in reviewing clients against on-going eligible care and support needs. You will be expected to complete 4 – 5 reviews a week, depending on complexity.
Excellent communication and written skills are essential. Herefordshire Adult Social Care uses the Mosaic client database so experience with this system would be an advantage, but training will be provided as required.
We are currently working a hybrid system of part office/part home-based working. There is a requirement to be able to work face to face in the office in Hereford and be able to travel throughout the county as required, for at least 2 days each week. You will be given autonomy in the booking of visits for the days in office and then writing-up on the work from home days.
