Job summary

Essex County Council is seeking Social Workers to help adults live independently and with choice and control under the Care Act framework. The role involves assessments, reviews, support planning and safeguarding in a person-centred way across West Essex (Harlow, Epping, Uttlesford).

Qualifications

• Social Worker registered with Social Work England.
• Broad understanding of statutory responsibilities and commitment to person-centred practice.

Responsibilities

• Work with people, families and carers to assess needs, plan support and safeguard within Care Act framework.
• Develop strong relationships with partner agencies and local communities to provide a supportive framework.
• Travel around Essex for role duties; driving licence or mobility solutions is essential.
