Job summary

Pulse Healthcare is recruiting a Permanent Adult Neuro Rehab Speech and Language Therapist in Leeds. The role focuses on delivering specialist SLT to adults with acquired brain injuries within a multidisciplinary neurorehabilitation centre.

The centre runs an initial 12-week rehabilitation programme within a neuro-behavioural framework, aiming to restore independence and quality of life through personalised therapy plans and community engagement.

Qualifications

• Hold a recognised degree in Speech and Language Therapy.
• Be HCPC registered and a full member of RCSLT.
• Experience working with adults in neurorehabilitation settings.
• Demonstrate excellent clinical reasoning and communication skills.
• Be proactive, organised, and committed to delivering high-quality, person-centred care.

Responsibilities

• Deliver specialist speech and language therapy to adults with acquired brain injuries and neurological conditions.
• Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team including neuropsychologists, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and rehabilitation support workers.
• Contribute to personalised rehabilitation programmes that include clinical, educational, and therapeutic sessions.
• Support the development of personal, social, and domestic skills, guided leisure activities, and vocational training.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and contribute to service development.
• Promote access to the local community and support behavioural management strategies.
