Job summary

City College Norwich is seeking a full-time Lecturer in Adult ESOL (19+) to join our successful ESOL provision. You will teach ESOL qualifications to adult learners, support progression activities and contribute to curriculum development within a supportive team.

The role requires experience delivering high-quality teaching, a strong grasp of assessment requirements and an ability to deliver blended learning. An informal discussion will be with Frances Wintjes-Clarke.

Qualifications

• Proven track record of outstanding ESOL teaching and learning.
• Experience delivering ESOL qualifications to adult learners.
• Willingness to contribute to curriculum expansion.

Responsibilities

• Deliver ESOL qualifications (Ascentis/City & Guilds) to adult learners.
• Lead curriculum development and internal quality assurance in ESOL.
• Support learners through blended learning and high-quality student support.
• Manage two evening ESOL classes per week.
• Collaborate with a small team to enhance wider curriculum offer.
