We are seeking to appoint an inspiring, enthusiastic and committed full-time Lecturer to join our successful Adult ESOL provision.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record of outstanding teaching, learning and assessment within ESOL, ideally with experience of working with adult learners. These may include Employability Skills, Living and Working in the UK, Community Interpreting, Functional Skills Maths (Entry Level 1-3) and Basic Digital Skills. Experience or knowledge of these areas would be advantageous, together with a willingness to contribute to the ongoing development and expansion of our ESOL curriculum offer.
You will demonstrate experience of delivering high-quality student support, curriculum development and blended learning. A strong understanding of the adult learning sector, including the motivations, challenges and barriers faced by ESOL learners, is essential.
The successful candidate will work closely with a small team of experienced professionals and will undertake course leadership and internal quality assurance responsibilities. Familiarity with awarding body specifications, assessment requirements and quality assurance processes within ESOL provision is therefore highly desirable.
This post includes the delivery of two evening classes each week.
Working with our ESOL learners is both rewarding and inspiring. You will join a highly supportive team with a strong commitment to learner success, continuous improvement and collaborative working across the wider curriculum area.
