Job summary
Stericycle in Leeds is seeking a driver to contribute to safe and timely movement of clinical and industrial waste. You will operate within a transportation team, perform daily schedules, complete documentation, and maintain compliance with EU WTD and ADR regulations.
The role requires a Category C1 licence (7.5T), a full clean driving licence, and ADR licence preferred. You will work 5 from 7 with possible holidays, stay safety-focused, and engage in customer-facing duties while upholding
Qualifications
- GCSE/High School qualification required.
- Category C1 licence with full clean driving record.
- ADR licence preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong focus on safety, reliability and customer service.
Responsibilities
- Carry out daily schedules to agreed routes and timings.
- Complete documentation for drivers' hours, WTD and ADR as required.
- Ensure compliance with Road Traffic Act and tachograph rules.
- Maintain vehicle checks and report defects to service coordinators.
- Provide courteous customer contact at delivery points.
- Attend trainings and adapt to shift patterns including weekends.
