Job summary

Driver Hire Swindon is seeking an experienced LGV/HGV Delivery Driver to join our team, delivering LPG cylinders safely to customer premises. ADR training will be provided, and previous ADR experience is desirable but not essential. The role is Monday to Friday, full-time, with overtime opportunities.

You will perform vehicle checks, load and unload cylinders, and ensure timely deliveries while maintaining high safety standards and professional customer service.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid LGV/HGV driving licence.
• Previous commercial driving or delivery experience preferred.
• Reliable, punctual and professional approach.
• Strong commitment to health and safety.
• Ability to handle physical loading/unloading of cylinders.
• Good communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver LPG cylinders safely to customer premises.
• Load and unload LPG cylinders.
• Carry out daily vehicle and equipment checks.
• Ensure deliveries are completed on time and safely.
• Provide professional customer service and complete paperwork accurately.
• Follow ADR, health and safety and company procedures.
• Ensure vehicle and load are secure and compliant.
• Work independently while maintaining high safety standards.

ADR LPG Cylinder Delivery Driver

Salary: £17.70 per hour | Overtime: £26.55 per hour after 42.5 hours

Monday to Friday | Full-time

ADR Training Provided

Our client is looking for an experienced and reliable LGV/HGV Driver to join their team, delivering LPG cylinders safely and efficiently to customer premises.

No ADR? No Problem!

Full ADR training will be provided to the successful candidate.

Previous ADR experience is desirable but not essential, making this a great opportunity for an experienced HGV/LGV driver looking to gain their ADR qualification.

The Role

As an ADR LPG Cylinder Delivery Driver, your responsibilities will include:

• Delivering LPG cylinders safely to customer premises
• Loading and unloading LPG cylinders
• Carrying out daily vehicle and equipment checks
• Ensuring deliveries are completed safely and on time
• Providing professional customer service
• Completing delivery paperwork accurately
• Following ADR, health & safety and company procedures
• Ensuring the vehicle and load are secure and compliant
• Working independently while maintaining high standards of safety and service

About You

Our client is looking for someone with:
