Qualifications

• Must hold a valid UK Class 2 (Category C) licence with a clean driving record.
• Experience delivering gas cylinders or hazardous goods is highly desirable.
• CPC qualification required.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations for hazardous materials transport.
• Good time management and organisational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to perform vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks.

Responsibilities

• Operate Class 2 vehicles to deliver gas cylinders to customer locations within the designated area.
• Ensure deliveries are completed accurately and on time with high service standards.
• Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and report defects.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations and proper handling of cylinders.
• Maintain delivery logs and documentation per company policy.
• Assist with loading/unloading cylinders following correct handling procedures.
• Coordinate with dispatch and customers to schedule deliveries and resolve issues.

Job Responsibilities

• Operate Class 2 vehicles to safely and efficiently deliver gas cylinders to various customer locations within the designated area.
• Ensure all deliveries are completed accurately and on time, maintaining high standards of customer service.
• Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting any defects or issues promptly.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including proper handling and securing of gas cylinders.
• Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs in accordance with company policies.
• Assist with loading and unloading cylinders, ensuring correct handling procedures are followed.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers to coordinate delivery schedules and resolve any issues.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Valid UK Class 2 (Category C) driving licence with a clean driving record.

• Relevant CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) qualification.
