Job summary

Manpower UK in Hinckley is seeking a Cylinder Driver on a temporary contract to cover early starts around 6am with a Monday to Friday pattern and Saturday rota. You will perform multi-drop deliveries of gas cylinders while upholding safety and customer service standards.

Applicants must hold a valid Cat C licence with Digi card and ADR Class 2, and be familiar with tachographs and drivers’ hours rules; DBS clearance is required.

• Familiarity with drivers' hours legislation and tachographs.
• DBS check required for successful candidates.
• Immediate start; contract until April 2027.

This Cylinder Driver - Class 2 ADR Driver - Stoney Stant position with Manpower UK is based in Hinckley on a temporary contract. Working Monday to Friday, roughly 6am to 3pm, with occasional Saturdays on a rota, the role involves delivering cylinders while maintaining safe, professional standards and strong customer service.

Pay & Benefits

• Pay starts at £17.13 hourly for a guaranteed 42.5-hour week, rising to £25.70 for overtime and weekend shifts, all PAYE.

Compensation details (duplicate)

• Competitive Pay: Earn £17.13 per hour, guaranteed 42.5 hours per week, overtime rates of £25.70 Weekends paid at £25.70 Rates are PAYE, 28 days holiday per year which increase with length of service.
• Yearly Bonuses: Performance-based bonuses twice a year
• Flexible Shifts: Monday to Friday with some Saturdays on a rota basis in busy times. The hours of work will be around the hours of 6am - 3pm. Some overtime is required.

Requirements

• Valid Cat C driving licence, Digi card, DCPC card ADR licence in class 2 in packages
• Familiarity with drivers'' hours legislation and tachographs.
• Successful candidates require a DBS check.
• Details: New / inexperienced drivers who hold the relevant licences will be considered The role is due to start immediately and will run until April 2027 when it will be reviewed
• For insurance purposes, you must have relevant HGV experience, should have no more than 6 points on your licence, and no DD or DR convictions in the last year.
