Job summary

Biffa Waste Services in Bury is seeking an experienced Class 1 ADR Driver to safely transport hazardous goods and complete on-time deliveries and collections. You will perform vehicle checks, complete paperwork, and secure loads according to ADR rules.

Mon-Fri, 45 hours per week with overtime available; immediate starts. Must hold LGV/HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence, Driver CPC, Digital Tachograph Card and ADR qualification.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid LGV/HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence.
• Hold a valid Driver CPC qualification.
• Hold a valid Digital Tachograph Card.
• Hold a valid ADR qualification covering relevant dangerous goods classes.
• Previous experience driving commercial vehicles.
• Good understanding of health and safety procedures.
• Strong awareness of transporting hazardous/dangerous goods.
• Good communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Safely transporting and collecting hazardous/dangerous goods in line with ADR regulations and company procedures.
• Carrying out vehicle checks and completing required paperwork.
• Securing loads and ensuring all collections and deliveries are completed safely and on time.
