Qualifications

• Formal Social Work qualification with post-qualifying experience in Children’s Social Care settings.
• Experience of adoption services and/or adoption assessments, particularly non-agency adopters.
• Understanding of relevant legislation, regulations and national standards in adoption assessments.

Responsibilities

• Undertake robust non-agency adoption assessments, written to high professional standards.
• Manage diary and deadlines; work with allocated cases in a timely manner.
• Travel to locations around the county and support out-of-hours work when required.
