Cumbria, Northumberland, Tyne and Wear NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting a Band 6 Specialist Occupational Therapist to join the Children and Young People Services in Middlesbrough. The role focuses on adolescent mental health, delivering individual and group therapy and coordinating with a multidisciplinary team.

You will supervise junior staff, contribute to service development and training, and balance clinical needs with service priorities in a dynamic NHS setting.

Competenze

• Recognised Occupational therapy degree/qualification.
• HCPC Registration.
• Evidence of post-registration training in OT interventions.
• Member of Royal College of Occupational Therapy.

Mansioni

• Screen all admitted or transferred young people on the acute ward; formulate interventions.
• Lead 1:1 sessions and therapeutic groups to support assessment and treatment.
• Supervise AHP support staff and provide CPD guidance.
