Job summary

Dorset HealthCare University NHS Foundation Trust invites applications for an Activity Co-ordinator at Pebble Lodge, an adolescent mental health unit. You will support the education and daily activity programme for young people aged 13–18, working closely with the Occupational Therapy team, Nursing staff and Psychologists to maintain structure and routine on the ward.

You will drive to work-related appointments, transport patients, and participate in a wide range of client-focused groups,

Qualifications

• Experience delivering activity programmes for adolescents is desirable.
• Experience working with multidisciplinary teams (OT, Nursing, Psychology) is beneficial.
• Committed to high quality, patient-centred care and evidence-based practice.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver a range of client-focused activity groups for inpatients.
• Support discharge planning by linking with external agencies.
• Transport patients to appointments and activities using own vehicle where required.
