Job summary

The Cornwall Partnership NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an Activity Coordinator / Healthcare Assistant to plan and deliver social and meaningful activities for CAMHS adolescent in-patients, working with a multidisciplinary team.

The role involves rotational shifts, including days, nights, weekends and bank holidays, and supporting the assessment and care planning of young people with mental health needs under supervision.

Qualifications

• Experience in CAMHS or adolescent in-patient care is desirable.
• Ability to plan and deliver engaging social activities for young people.

Responsibilities

• Plan social and meaningful activities for CAMHS inpatients.
• Work with a multi-disciplinary team and contribute to ward meetings and risk discussions.
• Carry out direct care duties under supervision of a registered nurse, including one-to-one support.
• Assist in service development and evaluating programmes of care.
