Admissions Officer

NJC 20-28 £31,586 - £37,938 Required for September 2025

We are seeking an Admissions Officer to join our school community. This role is front-facing, and the ideal candidate should have exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to communicate with prospective and existing parents/carers, local authorities, and other outside agencies. The successful candidate will promote the school and its facilities to prospective parents and support applications to attend the school by coordinating with local authorities for funding and obtaining EHCP to ensure the school can meet the needs of each prospective pupil. Experience of working with local Education Authorities previously would be beneficial.

Once a pupil has secured a place the Admissions Officer will continue to provide support and advice to the parents/carers of the pupil through to admission to the school.

The ideal applicant will be able to empathise, understand that obtaining a place can take time and be frustrating, be resilient, and maintain a positive disposition when challenges arise. Previous experience of working with parents and carers would be helpful.

Muntham House School is an outstanding residential and day Specialist SEN School for boys 5-18 with Autism or other SEN. The school maintains a local, regional, and national reputation for innovation and successful practice in the field of SEN. The successful candidate will receive an excellent training and induction package. The School's and CPD programme is extensive and second to none.

Closing date for position 23 rd May 2025 / Interviews will be held week commencing 2 nd June 2025.
