Job summary

Hartpury University and Hartpury College is seeking an Admissions Officer to support applicants through the enquiry and application process. You will guide applicants on courses, entry criteria, arrange interviews, issue offers and match results to offers.

The role involves maintaining applicant records, coordinating Open Days and events, and working in a hybrid setup blending office and home-based duties. A commitment to great customer service and data accuracy is essential.

Qualifications

  • Customer-focused with a high level of service throughout the applicant journey.
  • Eye for detail to ensure accurate data collection and record-keeping.
  • Experience working in an administrative function.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

As an Admissions Officer you will have the exciting opportunity to support applicants as they take their first steps towards their dream career, guiding them through the enquiry and application process, including:

  • Providing advice on prospective courses, entry criteria and other related matters
  • Processing applications for College and University courses, including arranging interviews and issuing offers
  • Matching examination results against offers and confirming places
  • Creating and maintaining applicant records
  • Assisting with the coordination of Open Days and applicant events

We’re looking for someone eager to be part of a dynamic team working in a varied role that encompasses the whole range of courses that Hartpury offers, from A Levels and Diplomas to undergraduate, postgraduate and PhD programmes.

  • Committed to providing a high level of customer service throughout the applicant journey
  • Have an eye for detail to ensure that we are collecting and maintaining accurate data
  • Experience of working in an administrative function
  • IT proficient with experience of using Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
