The purpose of this role is to help the Admissions Team engage and inspire young people,
especially UEG (underrepresented ethnic groups) and those from low socioeconomic
backgrounds, to consider LSA for their Level 3 or Level 4 qualifications. To be successful in this
role, you will be enthusiastic about working across a variety of tasks that help the wider team
engage young people. An integral part of LSA’s team, you will be passionate about every aspect
of diversity and have an interest in helping young people enter the creative industries (especially
the screen industries).
We are looking for someone to join our team who shows great initiative and is able to be flexible
across a fast-paced team. The Admissions, Marketing and Outreach team is responsible for all
aspects of attraction for prospective students. As such, we welcome ideas from our newest team
member in ways to effectively engage young people, especially those who have traditionally been
underrepresented within the film and television industries.
Role Responsibilities
- Coordinating events such as Open Events, Tours, Parent Information Sessions, Offeree Events. Including: sending invitations, creating sign-ups through Applicaa (our admissions portal), helping to organise catering, rooming and other administrative tasks to support the event schedule attracting prospective students
- Administrative support of the admissions office - responding to all admissions enquiries by email and phone, scheduling applicant interviews and assisting the Admissions Manager with applicant database management
- Pipeline communications - drafting and sending engaging comms to applicants and registered students through Applicaa
- Pipeline management - contacting registered students, applicants and prospective students with information and opportunities to help them gain an understanding of LSA’s offer
- Exporting and collecting data - particularly in tracking the success and impact of events
- Planning and running events to engage the pipeline with LSA and its offer. (applicant drop-in sessions, pathway taster sessions etc.)
- Delivering and planning sessions to engage prospective parents/carers (e.g. information sessions for parents)
- Utilising LSA’s industry relationships to engage pipeline
Role Requirements
- Interest in developing event options and coordinating events
- Excellent communication, both written and verbal
- Understanding of Google Suite, especially Google Sheets
- Database management skills

This is a permanent, full-time post. You may be required to work evenings and weekends due to events, such as LSA Open Events and enrolment. You will be required to undertake prospective student interviews and support the wider team where necessary.
