An administrative position is available within the Merseyside Fire and Rescue Service. The role includes supporting the Protection Admin Team with various administrative tasks, managing appointments, and utilizing ICT applications. Ideal candidates will have experience in an administrative role, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work confidently within a team. About The Role
We are looking to appoint an experienced Administrator to work in our busy Protection Admin Team.
The role covers a wide range of administrative duties and will provide strong overall administrative support to the team.
Key duties will include typing letters, various documents, and supporting the Protection Officers.
Applicants must be proficient in the use of various ICT applications, have extensive experience working in an administrative environment, be able to work as part of a team, and have experience training colleagues on working practices.
Once fully trained, you will be asked to support and provide cover for other admin as required, and support District Admin where applicable and when necessary.
Part of your role will be to make appointments for Inspectors, keep their diaries up to date, and rearrange appointments as necessary.
In addition, a flexible approach to work, effective communication skills, and an ability to work methodically and accurately are essential.
