Job summary

Chem Resist in Dewsbury is seeking a part-time Administrator to join the Accounts department on a permanent basis. The role offers 16–20 hours per week across four days, with duties including invoicing, processing purchase orders and ledgers, and general accounting support.

The ideal candidate will have proven administrative experience, strong IT skills with Microsoft Office, and the ability to work to deadlines and within a team.

What Are We Looking For?

As part of RSE’s Chemical & Wastewater Solutions Business, Chem Resist has an exciting opportunity for an Administrator to join their Accounts department on a permanent basis in our Dewsbury office. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with accounts experience to become part of one of a well-established business in a specialist area of Engineering, working in a wide range of industries.

Please note this role is part time, with the opportunity to work between 16 to 20 hours per week, spread across 4 days.

Some of Your Key Duties Include:

• Prepare and process sales invoices in line with instructions from the wider Accounts team, ensuring full compliance with VAT regulations.
• To process all purchase orders and ledger when required.
• Assist with general accounting tasks to support the wider team.
• Carry out all other tasks as requested within the post holder’s appropriate skill set.

What Do You Need?

• Proven experience working in a busy administrative environment is required.
• Excellent IT skills including Microsoft Packages.
• Ability to organise and prioritise workload effectively.
• Ability to work to strict deadlines to produce work to a high standard.
• A clear and concise communicator maintaining a polite and professional manner.
• Self-motivated attitude, and able to work on own initiative.
• Ability to work well within a team environment.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
