JT Recruit Ltd is seeking an Administrator (Minute taking) to produce accurate minutes from recordings of safeguarding meetings. The role is largely remote with a 2-day onsite induction in Northampton/Kettering and flexible 3 days per week, 22 hours total.
You will listen to recordings, draft minutes using templates, and log actions in line with safeguarding protocols. The successful candidate will have strong listening and writing skills, be capable of working independently in a remote
Administrator (Minute taking)
Location: Kettering, NN16 0SW or Northampton NN1 1ED (work can be done remotely once trained)
Working Hours: 22 hours per week, 3 days per week with flexibility on start and finish times (either 8am-4pm, 8.30am-4.30pm or 9am-5pm)
Length: 3 months initially
Start Date: ASAP
This is a fantastic opportunity for a highly organised, detail-focused individual with strong listening and written skills to contribute to safeguarding processes in a flexible, mostly remote role.
You will play a key role in producing accurate, high-quality minutes from recordings of statutory meetings such as Child Protection Conferences and reviews.
With no requirement to travel between sites, your focus will be on efficiently listening to recordings and producing structured minutes using set templates.
The role requires emotional resilience, as the content discussed within meetings can be sensitive in nature.
Strong minute-taking or transcription experience
Excellent listening skills and attention to detail
Ability to produce clear, well-structured written documents
Comfortable working independently in a remote environment
Competent IT skills
Ability to manage workload and meet deadlines
Emotional resilience when dealing with sensitive subject matter
Experience within Children's Services or safeguarding environments (desirable)
