This exciting Administrative Officer role sits within Women's Services at Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust and provides vital support to quality, safety, governance and operational improvement activities across maternity and gynaecology services. The role provides comprehensive administrative support across a range of governance and service improvement workstreams, including quality and safety reporting, meeting administration, complaints support, workforce processes and quality improvement initiatives. Key responsibilities include coordinating meetings, preparing agendas and minutes, maintaining databases and action trackers, supporting Datix reporting, producing reports and ensuring governance documentation is accurate, organised and up to date. You will also support a number of oversight and governance groups by coordinating papers, monitoring actions and maintaining assurance records.

Previous administrative experience is essential and experience within the NHS or healthcare environment would be advantageous.

What You Will Bring To The Role
  • Highly organised with excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritise a varied workload.
  • Strong administrative experience, including meeting coordination, minute taking and document management.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining accurate records and governance documentation.
  • Confident using Microsoft Office applications, databases and electronic record systems.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build positive working relationships.
  • Proactive and self-motivated, able to work independently and use initiative to solve problems.
  • Experienced in monitoring actions, maintaining trackers and supporting reporting and assurance processes.
