NHS Scotland is seeking an Administrative Assistant for the Keep Well team. This role involves supporting health-focused assessments and requires excellent interpersonal and organizational skills. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated admin assistant with an HNC or SVQ III in an office/administrative related subject or equivalent admin experience to join the Keep Well team.
The successful candidate will have knowledge of various software systems, office procedures, Microsoft Office packages, email, internet, and a working knowledge of IT and databases.
Keep Well is a community-based early intervention service providing person-centred, health-focused assessments, health-promoting conversations, and support to inspire health behaviour changes and disease prevention. It targets vulnerable populations to reduce health inequalities and improve health and employment retention in Forth Valley.
The role requires excellent interpersonal, organisational, and communication skills, including a good telephone manner and effective listening skills. The candidate must be able to accurately note directions/issues, prioritise workload, use initiative, and handle customer interactions tactfully and diplomatically. Ability to work accurately under pressure in a busy environment, with a flexible approach, is essential. The candidate should be able to work independently and as part of a team.
Travel throughout the area of service delivery is required.
