An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated admin assistant with an HNC or SVQ III in an office/administrative related subject or equivalent admin experience to join the Keep Well team. The successful candidate will have knowledge of various software systems, office procedures, and the use of Microsoft Office packages, email, and the internet, along with a working knowledge of IT and databases.
Keep Well is a community-based early intervention service aiming to provide person-centred, health-focused assessments, health-promoting conversations, and support to inspire health behaviour changes and disease prevention. It targets the most vulnerable in society to reduce health inequalities and improve health and employment retention throughout Forth Valley. The successful candidate should have experience and confidence in dealing with people at all levels, both within and outside the NHS.
The post-holder will possess excellent interpersonal, organisational, and communication skills, with an excellent telephone manner and effective listening skills. They should be able to accurately note down directions or issues communicated, prioritize their workload, use initiative, and resolve issues tactfully and diplomatically, knowing when to escalate. Good customer handling skills, the ability to work accurately under pressure, and a flexible approach are essential. The candidate should be able to work independently with some guidance and collaboratively within a team.
Willingness and ability to travel throughout the service delivery area are required.
The duties of this post require the successful candidate to complete a Level 2 Disclosure Scotland check.
