Job summary

Healthcare Ireland’s City View Court in Belfast is seeking an Administrative Assistant to join a warm, patient-focused team. You will support staff and management with essential admin tasks, greet visitors, manage files and coordinate scheduling.

Qualifications

  • Right to work in the UK
  • Educated to GCSE level or equivalent with a high level of English and numeracy
  • Excellent keyboard and PC skills with good proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word/Excel)
  • Exceptional administration, organisation and receptionist skills

The Home

City View Court, situated in Belfast, delivers person-centred nursing care for up to 100 residents.

Recently refurbished, City View Court is a light, modern and spacious home offering a range of specialist care services for older people, including residential, dementia and general nursing.

Our kind and compassionate team not only provides care, but shares their good company, companionship and assistance whenever required, ensuring that all residents feel listened to and supported.

Whilst all private bedrooms are fully furnished residents are welcome to personalise the space with their own accessories and furniture.

Residents at City View Court can enjoy the comfortable lounges and dining spaces to relax, enjoy a nutritious meal freshly prepared by our chef, or to socialise.

Despite its city centre location, City View Court boasts a calm, restful atmosphere.

The Role

Working with the Home Manager and Administrator, the role of Administrative Assistant is to contribute to Healthcare Ireland's mission by providing essential administrative support to staff and management. As the first point of contact for visitors, relatives, external agencies and team members you will promote the warm and welcoming culture of each Home, but also ensure the safety of the residents and staff by greeting visitors and ensuring they are able to fulfil the purpose of their visit.

Required Criteria
  • Right to work in the UK.

Desired Criteria
  • Previous experience within an administrative or customer service role (preferably a nursing home environment) is desirable but not essential.
