Job summary

Gov Facilities Services Limited (GFSL) is seeking an Administration Officer at HMP Wormwood Scrubs, a Category B and Male prison. You will support a facilities maintenance team to maintain a safe and well‑run establishment, contributing to a secure environment for prisoners, staff and visitors.

You will work with Plumbers, Electricians, Carpenters, Painters, Cleaners and Administrators in a busy, supervised setting, aligning with modern safety and admin practices.

Qualifications

• Experience using IT systems including CAFM.
• Experience in a busy office environment.
• Ability to work without supervision.
• Knowledge of IT systems.
• Up to date First Aid qualification.
• Administrative experience.

We are seeking a dedicated Administration Officer to join our team at HMP WORMWOOD SCRUBS, CATEGORY B & MALE prison.

As a Administration Officer you will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced and passionate colleagues who vary from Plumbers, Electricians, Carpenters, Painters, to Cleaners, and Administrators, and others, who are all dedicated to making a positive difference, providing a safe and secure environment for all.

We are a Ministry of Justice business and provide critical and time-bound services to HMPPS, and are looking for a Administration Officer with a combination of:

• Experience in using a variety of IT systems including CAFM
• Experience in a busy office environment
• Experience of working without supervision
• Knowledge of IT systems
• Up to date First Aid qualification
• Administrative experience

Future Plans.

GFSL has been notified by it's shareholder (MOJ) that the provision of FM Services will in future be delivered by the private sector. This means that following a successful procurement process, GFSL's services will complete transfer to a private sector provider/providers no sooner than August 2027.
