An exciting opportunity has arisen within The Integrated Geriatric Stroke Medicine Directorate, we are seeking a full time Administration Assistant within the community to join our team. This role is vacant due to staff moving on in their career within the NHS and reflective of the supportive environment that IGSM has developed for its Administrative Staff.
This is a demanding but interesting and varied role. The successful candidates must possess the ability to work as part of a team and the initiative to work unsupervised when necessary. An understanding of confidentiality is essential as well as a commitment to delivering a high standard of work.
Experience within the NHS including knowledge of SystmOne would be desirable. Good communication skills and excellent keyboard skills are also essential. Full training for this post will be provided.
Community Stroke Service (CSS) is a small team that supports the whole directorate operationally ensuring that our community based, clinical teams have everything they need when they need it. The successful candidate will be based at (SPARC) Stroke Pathway Assessment Rehabilitation Centre - Norfolk Park.
Provide administrative assistance to the Stroke Pathway Assessment and Rehabilitation Centre based at Beech Hill Rehabilitation Unit and the Intermediate Care Beds service based at Lightwood House and in various locations across the city.
To ensure efficient and effective support to the services.
To be the first point of contact for patients and visitors entering SPARC, and to always present a professional and friendly manner.
To consistently deliver a patient focused service, which provides good customer service and effective working relationships along the Stroke Pathway.
To work closely with the other members of the team to ensure the smooth running of the services at all times.
