The Role
We have an exciting opportunity for experienced administrators to join the ‘Bolton Family’ and be part of our team supporting Adults Social Care.
You will work closely with Managers, Health Professionals and Social Workers and link with other members of the Admin team. Working with partner agencies to create an environment where multi-agency practice is strong. You will join a committed team who are proud of the service they deliver to achieve their potential.
An opportunity has arisen for a part time Admin Team Leader within the South Neighbourhood Team and Community Learning Disabilities team working 18.5hours per week (Full day Monday and Tuesday, Wednesday morning). The main duties and responsibilities of the post are detailed in the job description and person specification. The post is based at Farnworth Town Hall.
The Admin Team Leader is key to ensuring the smooth running of services and the role is exciting and varied. The primary responsibilities of the role include (but are not limited to):
Providing an effective and efficient administrative service
To plan, manage and develop your own work to meet specified administrative requirements and deadlines
To work effectively with team members and to contribute to improving the work of the team
To organise, support and maintain the use of information systems including databases
To be responsible for research, preparation and presentation of a range of documents from various sources to specified deadlines
About You
Applicants must have experience of working in an administrative capacity and/or in an office environment, with knowledge of managing and supervising teams and individuals.
Understanding of developing, implementing and maintaining quality administrative services will be key to this role.
You must have effective communication and literacy skills, both verbally and in writing in order to research, locate, select and analyse information to support decision-making and audit compliance using packages such as Word, Excel and Outlook.
You must have effective organisational skills, with the ability to plan, develop and prioritise your own/Teams workload and be able to work as part of a team and under your own supervision.
You must have the ability to arrange and take comprehensive minutes at conferences or multi agency meetings, as well as the ability to handle cash, be able to record and monitor payments in line with financial procedures.
