The post holder will beresponsible for the management of the admin team ensuring effectiveperformance, including coordination of administrative work, supervising staff,maintaining cover, carrying out staff performance reviews and ensuring trainingand development for the staff that they are responsible for.
Candidatesshould be qualified to NVQ Level 3 in Business & Administration orequivalent. Experience of databasemanagement and input, complex diary management, planning and organising complexmeetings and experience in attending and recording minutes of meetingsaccurately would be desirable.
Thepost holder must also have the ability to communicate effectively with peopleat all levels by telephone and in person and display the ability to followpolicies and procedures. Excellent organisational skills and timemanagement skills are essential.
The post holdershould have a working knowledge of all computer packages. They should beable to demonstrate excellent keyboard skills and a knowledge of IT packagesare essential. Experience in the use ofexcel would also be desirable.

To providesupport to the Learning Disability team based at Monkton Hall, Hebburn,ensuring the provision of efficient and comprehensive personal secretarial servicesand administrative support.
To manage arange of administrative staff in Monkton Hall ensuring staff are developed intheir roles.
To workacross a range of bases across South of Tyne and Wear as required.
