Job summary

University Hospitals of Derby and Burton NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced Admin Pathway Team Leader to support the ImpACT+ community respiratory service. Based at Florence Nightingale Community Hospital, you will lead the admin team and coordinate administrative workflows across clinics, domiciliary visits and virtual MDTs.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in a patient administrative role including outpatients.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload.
• Experience in line management and people management.
• Excellent communication and relationship skills with clinicians and patients.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience with hospital administrative systems and Sy1 is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Reviewing, implementing and developing admin protocols and processes.
• Managing administration staff, including involvement in HR processes.
• Supporting in the delivery of training and developing admin teams.
• Collaborative work with clinical and non-clinical colleagues to develop service needs.
• Ensuring admin processes run smoothly across the team.
• Co-ordinating and supporting admin processes within the team.
• Active role in adding clinic ledgers to an electronic patient system.
