Skycare is seeking a highly organized Home Administrator for a Wolverhampton nursing home. This full-time role focuses on managing daily administration, records, and compliance, while supporting the Home Manager and care team.

You will be a pivotal contact for residents and families, handling calls, emails and confidential information with care. Experience in care settings, strong IT skills, and GDPR knowledge are essential.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the day-to-day administration of the nursing home.
  • Act as the first point of contact for visitors, residents, relatives and professionals.
  • Answer telephone enquiries and respond to emails professionally.
  • Maintain accurate resident records and confidential documentation.
  • Support admissions, discharges and onboarding processes.
  • Assist with staff administration, including onboarding paperwork and training records.
  • Process invoices, purchase orders, petty cash and other financial admin duties.
  • Maintain compliance records in line with CQC and company requirements.
  • Coordinate meetings, prepare documents and take minutes when required.
  • Support payroll and timesheet administration.
  • Liaise with healthcare professionals, local authorities and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure data protection and confidentiality are maintained.

We are seeking a highly organised, professional, and compassionate Home Administrator to join our friendly nursing home team in Wolverhampton.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced administrator who enjoys working in a people-focused environment and wants to play a vital role in supporting the smooth day-to-day operation of a busy nursing home. As the first point of contact for residents, families, visitors, and professionals, you will help create a welcoming and professional environment while providing essential administrative support to the Home Manager and wider team.

About the Role

As Home Administrator, you will be responsible for managing the home's administration processes, maintaining accurate records, supporting compliance requirements, and ensuring efficient communication across the service.

You will work closely with management, care staff, residents, families, healthcare professionals, and external agencies to ensure the home operates effectively and delivers outstanding care.

  • NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Business Administration, Customer Service, or a related qualification
  • Understanding of GDPR and confidential record management
