Job summary

Ivy Lane Primary School is seeking an Admin Assistant to provide efficient clerical support to the school office, helping ensure smooth day-to-day operations. You will work closely with staff, pupils, parents and external professionals with strong communication and organisational skills.

This permanent part-time role is based at Ivy Lane School in Chippenham. Actual salary is pro-rated for term-time hours; the post is 32.5 hours per week across 38 weeks per year.

Salary range: D4-D6, £26,016-£26,847FTE

Actual Salary: £19,152-£19,763 per annum

Contract: Permanent, Part-time

Working hours: 32.5 hours per week, working 38 weeks per year (term time, excluding TD days)

Working pattern: Monday to Friday, 8.15am to 12.45pm plus 1.30pm to 3.30pm

We are seeking a dedicated, organised and enthusiastic individual to join our school as an Admin Assistant. The successful candidate will provide efficient administrative and clerical support to the school office, helping to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the school. Working closely with staff, pupils, parents and external professionals, the role requires excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills. The successful candidate will be reliable, proactive and able to manage a range of administrative tasks with accuracy and professionalism. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who is committed to supporting the school community and contributing positively to the wellbeing and success of our pupils.

Ivy Lane School is a two-form entry Primary School in the centre of Chippenham, Wiltshire and is part of the Pickwick Academy Trust. We also have our on-site Sunflowers Nursery which accepts children from the age of 3 years old.
